S.O.S to "Blow the whistle" With Conference causes

Next weekend we host our 2nd Annual “Referees Embracing Faith Conference: The Legacy of Salvation-A Gift & A Call.” We are so humbled to be having another chance to bring together a community of brothers and sisters who love to officiate, but love Jesus even more. It’s something extremely special to bring together people to worship, praise and listen to well-respected leaders in the profession.

With all of that said what’s even more special about next week is that we have the chance to begin a tradition of using our platform to help the kingdom of God outside of officiating. Our 2nd Annual Conference we will be championing a cause where we will get the opportunity to help out a ministry, outside of sports, in their God-given purposes and missions. For us we must believe that the mission field is bigger then calling fouls and coming together once a year like this. We are so privileged to have the opportunity to do R.E.F., that the only right response we have is to give back. There are so many other ministries out there fighting for injustices, serving the poor and downtrodden, and taking a stand on Kingdom work that would be at the heart of Jesus. What gets us most excited is that we have the opportunity to be a support to these ministries.

We are excited to announce that for the 2019 R.E.F. conference, S.O.S. have chosen to partner with Trafficking Hope, a non-profit organization striving to eradicate sex-trafficking across the nation. We have the opportunity to REDEEM what it means to be gentlemen and fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, be a voice to the voiceless, and honor women in speech and actions, both on and off the court. Through their C.A.R.E.S. (Coalition, Awarness, Rescue, Education, Services) initiative, this organization takes a holistic approach to combat human trafficking at the local, national, and global level. And as with any non-profit organization, they can use our help!

“Vindicate the weak and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.” Psalms 82:3-4

Half of all proceeds from the hat and shirt sales will go directly to Trafficking Hope, as well as a quarter of all registration donations as S.O.S. stands with them and says #itsnotOKAY.

We urge all of you to read more about this ministry and for all men to take the “Gentlemen Pledge” today at www.traffickinghope.com/thepledge.

We look forward to seeing you next weekend to praise and worship together. Please register online @ www.sportsofficialssurrendered.org

**We want to thank our friends at Fox40 for the amazing whistles**
